Rick has a rich and highly specialized background in both medicine and law enforcement that gives him a unique perspective in workers’ compensation investigations.

 

After a four year stint with the Navy Medical Corps in Vietnam, Rick was Honorably Discharged and joined the Fresno Sheriff’s Dept. as a Correctional Officer. Just one year later, Rick was hired by the Clovis Police Department, where he worked his way through the ranks until 1995 when he was appointed Police Chief of Dixon, CA, where he served for sixteen years. 

 

Prior to his work as a Status Investigator, Rick served as Under-sheriff for Solano County.

 

Risk holds memberships in a number of law enforcement and community agencies, and was once a Catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies.
